First woman installed as commanding officer of NAS Pensacola

A historic change of command ceremony happened at NAS Pensacola on Friday. Capt. Terry ‘Village’ Shashaty officially turned over the command to Capt. Chandra ‘Mamasan’ Newman. Newman is the first woman to serve as commanding officer at NAS Pensacola.
