After a seven-year absence, Disney brought “Star Wars” back to the big screen with “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” which topped the box office heading into Memorial Day weekend.

The Mandalorian and Grogu got a slow start at the box office.

Series creator and filmmaker Jon Favreau returns to helm the feature, which stars Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian, Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt.
