Boxing is set to be in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics as IOC president Thomas Bach says the executive board he chairs approved including the sport, which will be run by World Boxing.

Boxing will be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after disputes over how the sport is run, the International Olympic Committee said Monday.

Boxing won't be exiting the Summer Olympics program for the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach said Monday the IOC's executive board affirmed boxing's status moving forward and that he's "very confident" it will receive full approval.
