Would it be a good idea for the Lakers to swap Luka Doncic for Giannis Antetokounmpo, if Antetokounmpo became available this offseason?

Giannis Antetokounmpo had an elite regular season. Despite his Milwaukee Bucks dealing with a plethora of injuries throughout the season, Antetokounmpo stepped up, shouldering the majority of the load for his squad.

The Los Angeles Lakers were the team that benefited from one of the wildest trades in NBA history. They were able to score Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks. That trade shifted the balance of power in the Western Conference.

He did so by being the quintessential lead man of the Showtime Lakers' fast break, which is considered the greatest of all time. He pushed the ball upcourt with reckless abandon, but he also used his 6-foot-9 frame to his advantage in the paint, especially when the game slowed down.

An NBA insider reported that there's a "growing possibility" Giannis Antetokounmpo is leaning one way on his decision with the Milwaukee Bucks.
