Cpmelec appealed to Congress to  finalize before the end of December whether or not it would push for the deferment of the BARMM polls.

The proposed deferral of the parliamentary polls in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was met with opposition at the Senate on Thursday.
