Columbia University has suspended dozens of students and barred alums and others who participated in a pro-Palestinian demonstration inside the school’s main library earlier this week

The Trump administration said Thursday it was “encouraged” by Columbia University’s response to a pro-Palestinian protest at the main campus library Wednesday where police took 80 people into custody.

Columbia University suspends 65 students after a protest at Butler Library glorified terrorist Basel Al-Araj. During the protest, which disrupted final exam preparations, demonstrators called for divestment from Israel and handed out pamphlets promoting Al-Araj’s actions.
