Ben McCollum continues to bring some important pieces from Drake over to Iowa City now that he's head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The move from Drake to Iowa for Hawkeyes men’s basketball head coach Ben McCollum not only brought excitement for Iowa fans, but a handful of new players making the move as well. Three Drake players have already pleged to Iowa,

McCollum left for Iowa after leading the Bulldogs to a 31-4 overall record and the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where Drake fell to Texas Tech on Saturday. The 43-year-old coach spent one season in Des Moines – his first stint as a Division I head coach – and signed a five-year contract when Hardin hired him last April.
