Two 3.0+ earthquakes were reported in the Inland Empire on Saturday near Fontana, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A preliminary 3.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Fontana area Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The quake was reported around 2:20 p.m. Saturday with a depth of about 1.5 miles.
