According to police, the victim and the suspect, who is still at large, were involved in a verbal dispute prior to the shooting.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was fatally shot in far north Fort Worth early Friday, police said. Police said the incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 11200 block of Golden Triangle Circle, where officers were dispatched and found a victim with a gunshot wound to his chest and torso.

Officers initially responded to a report of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of 3413 Creekwood Lane, according to an online police call log.
