Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Calgary, Canada, for the G7 Summit. He will meet leaders and share thoughts on global issues. Modi will highlight the priorities of the Global South. India will participate in G7 discussions on energy security and new technologies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at the Calgary International Airport in Canada on Tuesday to attend the G7 Summit that is taking place at the nearby Kananaskis village in Alberta. This is Prime Minister Modi's first visit to Canada since 2015,

The 2018 summit ended with Trump assailing his Canadian hosts on social media as he departed on Air Force One, saying he had instructed the U.S. officials who remained in Quebec to oppose the G7 joint statement endorsed by the leaders of Japan, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and, of course, Canada.
