The case against the suspected Fort Stewart shooter could be brought to the United States Attorney’s Office, as Fort Stewart is a federal installation.

The couple is accused of depriving their child of “adequate nourishment and medical care,” which led to her death while living at the Fort Stewart Military Reservation, officials said.
