On Wednesday, Democrat Adam Frisch conceded the race for Colorado's U.S. House District 3 seat to Republican Jeff Hurd.

Republican Jeff Hurd continued to lead Democrat Adam Frisch on Wednesday in a tight race to be the successor of outgoing Colorado 3rd Congressional District Rep. Lauren Boebert. As of about noon on Wednesday, Hurd had received about 50.04% of over 365,000 votes counted while Frisch received about 47.39%.

The 3rd Congressional District of Colorado will stay in Republican hands. Democrat Adam Frisch conceded in the race around 4:00 p.m. local time. With 88% of the vote counted, Republican Jeff Hurd led Frisch 50.

U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert currently represents the district and announced last December that she would change districts to continue representing Colorado in Congress. In 2022, Boebert narrowly won her re-election over Frisch by 546 votes.
