Two homes were struck by lightning, one of which caught fire, as thunderstorms rolled through Goose Creek Friday, the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department reported.

On Friday at 6:36 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 7 p.m. for Lawrence County.
