Barangay Ginebra survived yet another close game, this time to secure a semifinals berth as it eked out a 113-106 win over Meralco in Game 3 of the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup on Monday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Justin Brownlee saved the day once again for Barangay Ginebra, sinking a game-winning 3-pointer to push the Gin Kings to within a win from the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals over the Meralco Bolts, 104-103, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday.

Coach Tim Cone still feels the sting of Barangay Ginebra’s untimely playoff exit at the hands of Meralco last summer. It has been soothed somewhat after Monday night. The Gin Kings converted on their first chance at eliminating the Bolts after catching fire in the fourth period to carve out a 113-106 victory and sweep their best-of-five quarterfinal series in the PBA Governors Cup at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
