On Friday, both drivers were in Las Vegas ahead of Sunday’s Cup Series race. Logano was hosting a special edition of his SiriusXM NASCAR Radio show “Behind the Wheel” with co-host Alex Weaver. They welcomed Ryan Blaney as a guest, who was on the course playing a round of golf with Bubba Wallace.

Joey Logano already had an affinity for Phoenix Raceway. The Team Penske driver had won on the mile oval three times, including the 2022 Cup Series title, and had 15 top-10 finishes in 31 races since 2009.
