CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett will have to wait until next week to learn if he’ll repeat as the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year, but according to the Sporting News, he’s already a repeat winner of the award.

Before the official AP awards are announced on Feb. 6, the Browns revealed major news regarding Garrett. The star defensive lineman has been named The Sporting News Defensive Player of the Year. "Clear room on that trophy shelf, Myles!" posted the Browns.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Barry has revealed the team will not trade Myles Garrett in the offseason, "no matter what they are offered."

While that award won’t be given out until NFL Honors, Garrett once again was named The Sports News’ DPOY joining Cleveland legend Jim Brown as the only Browns player to win on
