LeBron James is playing his 22nd season in the NBA. He is doing things at 40 years old that no other player before him has done. By now, it is clear that LeBron will have almost every longevity record possible.

In a game against the Jazz last week, James passed Jamal Wilkes for tenth in Lakers all-time scoring. With that happening, he becomes the only player in NBA history to be in the top ten of scoring for three different franchises.

Age is more than just a number to LeBron James. It’s also a target. The 40-year-old James became the oldest player to score 40 points in an NBA game when he put up a season-high 42 in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 120-112 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
