Hunter played defense for the third training camp practice and the first since July 27. After getting beat deep for a touchdown by Parker Washington from Trevor Lawrence, Hunter broke up passes on the last two plays of practice, both thrown by Seth Henigan.

Second-year Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has noticed a change in rookie two-way player Travis Hunter already. According to Thomas, Hunter has grown in Liam Coen’s system by getting a better understanding of the playbook. Hunter has had to learn two systems as the team brings him along on both sides of the ball.
