Winter storm warnings are in effect across New York. Here's the latest on the storm.
ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – Snow showers persist along with the bitter cold air. Temperatures are way down and we will remain below 20 degrees through the next several days. You can expect accumulating snow picking up steam later tonight as wind flow is out of the north and the air is cold.
The Rochester region is working to unbury after being slammed by the largest winter storm in at least eight years.
Some churches in the Rochester region have canceled services and other activities Sunday, as flakes begin to fly. The Town of Brighton's farmers market - typically held on winter Sundays at the market barn on Westfall Road in Buckland Park - was also canceled due to the storm.
