The tarp was placed on the field at Yankee Stadium prior to the scheduled start of their 7:05 p.m. Friday night game against Boston.

Aaron Judge had two hits, including a tiebreaking double in the fifth inning, and the New York Yankees beat the languishing Colorado Rockies 5-4 in a game delayed 1 hour, 46 minutes by rain.
