Adam Sandler’s oafish pro golfer is back on screen for the first time in nearly 30 years, in a new movie that follows the titular Happy Gilmore as he attempts to get back in the game and raise his five kids after the death of wife Virginia (Julie Bowen) in a hurtling golf ball accident.
After making her acting debut in Happy Gilmore 2, Plum said she wouldn't hesitate to take more roles in the future. "When Adam Sandler calls you, you're in," Plum told Edwin Garcia of SB Nation. "So I would love to do more things like that. I had a ton of fun. I learned a lot. So definitely excited about future opportunities."
A lifelong friend of the famous comedian, Kyle McDonough starred on the ice at Vermont and served as motivation for the fictional golfer.
