Apple may have stopped manufacturing the Lighting to headphone jack adapter that the company launched with the iPhone 7 lineup back in 2016.

Nonetheless, many people out there still have older Lightning iPhones but haven't yet made the jump to wireless headphones. Third-party options are out there that they can use—at least for now—but the popular Apple adapter seems to be following the same script that other deprecated Apple accessories have followed when riding off into the sunset.

Users who haven't got around to buying Apple's short Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter after eight years are now out of luck, as the iPhone 7 accessory appears to be discontinued.
