An Air India crash Thursday involved a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which the aircraft manufacturer first delivered 14 years ago.

Boeing now expects worldwide demand for 43,600 additional commercial airplanes over the next 20 years, slightly lower than its earlier forecast

Boeing has pulled out of this week’s Paris airshow, which is traditionally an important event for aircraft manufacturers to announce big orders, saying it would instead focus on the investigation.

The Air India plane that crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12 was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. As per a report, Air India had 34 Boeing 787 airframes in its fleet before the crash.
