The Buford, GA., native picked the Aggies over Texas, Clemson and Miami. According to 247Sports' composite ratings, Wright is the third-ranked edge prospect in the country (32nd in the class overall) and the 5th-ranked prospect in Georgia.

Perry-Wright, a 6-2, 250-pound defensive tackle out of Buford High School in Georgia, is committing to A&M over offers from Texas, Miami, Clemson, Auburn and others. He’s currently ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 defensive tackle in the country for the Class of 2026, and the No. 32 recruit overall.

So it’s no surprise that A&M landed its third five-star recruit from the 2026 class. On Sunday evening, Bryce Perry-Wright, one of Georgia’s top edge rushers, announced his commitment live on YouTube, declaring that he’ll start his college career at Texas A&M.
