Game Fest on Friday, a trailer dropped for the next Game of Thrones adaptation -- and it's a real-time strategy game coming in 2026, putting players in control of armies and heroes made famous in the books and HBO show.

While there have been plenty of Game of Thrones video games, including some clever indie spinoffs, War for Westeros seems like a very natural expansion for the franchise. The game is launching at some point in 2026.
