Ex-White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney — who served in Donald Trump ’s first term — warned Wednesday that at least one of the massive, newly-installed flagpoles at the White House could prove to be “problem.”

The president's comments came as workers erected two 88-foot-tall flagpoles, one on the North Lawn and one on the South Lawn, at the White House on Wednesday.

“These are the most magnificent poles made,” Trump claimed Tuesday of the new additions. “They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!”
