Federal officials say Maria Higgins, who worked as a bookkeeper at businesses in Glastonbury and Danbury, was able to embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars while working for them.
The Connecticut honorees include players from Darien, Glastonbury, Guilford, New Canaan, Wilton, Ridgefield and Sharon.
