Roslansky has guided LinkedIn as the platform increased its revenues and launched new AI-powered products; now Microsoft wants him to do the same for Office.

The chief of Microsoft Corp.’s LinkedIn is taking charge of the teams that build email and productivity apps, in a reorganization that consolidates more of the company’s workplace software as it seeks to speed up deployment of artificial intelligence tools.

LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky will now also oversee Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Roslansky will continue as CEO of LinkedIn, which runs mostly autonomously from Microsoft, but he will also be responsible for Microsoft's most famous applications.
