Despite Election Day being in the past, the defamation case against CNN and a North Carolina resident filed by Republican candidate for governor Mark Robinson is still pending. A hearing had been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18 to address Louis Love Money's motion to dismiss the case, but it will be postponed, Wake County Superior Court records show.

The network says the defamation case doesn't belong in state court because the company isn't based in North Carolina and it alleges that a separate North Carolina-based defendant was "fraudulently joined" in the suit.
