Multiple New Hampshire fire departments used lake water to put out a brush fire on Lake Winnipesaukee on Sunday.
The brush fire, which ignited around 2 p.m. on Monday, July 1, rapidly spread south near Rattlesnake Mountain, ultimately burning approximately 340 acres.
Both agencies attacked the Barron Fire, which is 60% contained as of 8 p.m. The brush fire spread south across Rattlesnake Mountain south of the Reno Tahoe International Airport.
