The man who was shot by a Sioux City police officer Saturday has died. The Sioux City Police Department said in a Monday release that the man has been identified as Vicente Manzo Hernandez, 30, of Hull.

The incident continues to be investigated by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation. SCPD says per department policy two Sioux City police officers are on administrative leave pending the outcome of the DCI investigation and the Sioux City Police Department’s internal review of the incident.
