There are so many upcoming superhero movies on the way. From hotly anticipated Marvel flicks to the growing list of DCU projects in the works, fans of Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, and other iconic comic book heroes are in for a real treat these next few months and years.

This week’s retro trailer is for the 1984 film Supergirl . I thought it would be fuin to take a look back at the original film, with DC Studios release the trailer for the new DCU film earlier this week.

Netflix has set the streaming release date for Hellboy. Written and helmed by Guillermo del Toro and based on the Dark Horse Comics character of the same name, it is one of the films coming to the streamer next month.

Nintendo and Illumination have given fans an early look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the follow-up to the 2023 hit The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide. The teaser debuted at The Game Awards 2025, offering a glimpse into the animated adventure months before its theatrical premiere.
