Here's how much snow is expected to fall on Christmas in Cascades
Snow levels drop to 3,000 feet, which could make driving and holiday travel across mountain passes difficult. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Cascades from Wednesday at 4 p.m. to Friday at 10 a.m. Places above 3,000 feet of elevation could see 12 inches of snow, and places above 4,000 feet of elevation could see up to 20 to 24 inches.
