A ski resort in a tidal swamp in South Jersey? ⛷️ Holly Mountain opened in 1972 in Lower Alloways Creek on a sand hill only about 90–100 feet tall. The lodge and parking lot sat at the summit, so every run started by skiing downhill toward the Delaware Bay. Despite its size, the hill had a double chairlift, snowmaking, and popular night skiing.
