How do we see color? 🤔 We see color 🏳️‍🌈because of the light-sensitive photoreceptor cells of our retina. There are ✌️2 types of photoreceptor cells. We have the rods that detect black and white 🐼colors and we have the cones that detect different colors 🌈from different wavelengths of light. Red ❤️cones detect long wavelengths, green 💚cones detect medium wavelength and blue 💙cones detect short wavelengths. 60% of the cones are ❤️red, 30% are green💚, and 10% are blue💙. When light 💡enters
