On July 5, 1999 WCW Monday Nitro took place in front of 25,338 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and aired live on TNT. Bret Hart returned to WCW television for the first time since his brother Owen’s tragic death on May 23rd. It marked Bret’s first public comments on Owen since the accident. In the main event, WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair put his title on the line in a Four Way Match against Hollywood Hogan, Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page.
