Alvin, our head trauma chipmunk patient, is now able to stand up without falling over and is no longer circling. He has finally started eating on his own, so he moved out of his hospital tank into a cage. He still has some residual effects of the trauma... he makes little jerking motions with his head occasionally, and I'm concerned that his vision may be affected (which is very hard to determine in wild animals since they compensate for it so well). He will need to be monitored for another coup
